He said travel time guarantees will be determined in the Seliltan district, east Jakarta, to Kuningan, south Jakarta. He also said that travel time guarantees will be provided from Penjaringan, North Jakarta, to the National Monument (Monas), Central Jakarta.
“Similarly, the western region and the west are identical to the Kalideres-Daan Mogot region and take it to the National Monument region as well. There is a more densely populated region, which is Grogol region, we will transfer it to Semanggi with certain guarantees. What is the guaranteed time.. Youssef said that 35 minutes is a psychological number in people’s minds. This number is calculated from people’s estimated travel time from their homes to the nearest bus stop to their destination.
“Why 35 minutes? Because 35 minutes is a psychological number that was in the public’s mind and I shouldn’t spend more than an hour from home to work. So 25 minutes is the distance from his house to the direction of the Trans Jakarta bus station and then 35 minutes from Halte Trans Jakarta Heading to the bus stops in the city center, so that from there psychologically people should leave the house to the place of work in no more than an hour.
The key to the success of this program, Joseph said, is to sterilize the lanes of the private Transjakarta buses. He said TransJ will coordinate with relevant parties to ensure this Bus It is not penetrated by other compounds.
“Actually, progress is not the main key. The main key is how to protect when these TransJakarta vehicles are going to the destination point, namely in the lane. How about security in the lane so that the bus can travel at the optimal speed.”
“That is why in the future, if every crossing point is continuously guarded and monitored, especially now, the police can also issue fines again as before, this could be a good security measure,” he added.
