Former Head of Makassar Customs Andy Pramono He was identified as a suspected gratuity recipient. KPK said Andhi’s alleged gratification was related to the export-import process.
“Customs is really one of them there, right, the name of the field of work. So in export and import there are duties that are collected on exports and imports. Yes, this is where the mistakes happened,” the acting MP said. Enforcement of KPK Asep Guntur at KPK, South Jakarta, Tue (16/5/2023).
Asep said that the possibility of gratification is closely related to the misappropriation of the cost mechanism taken from exposure and import. He said the investigation team is currently tracking Andhi Pramono’s rewards by calling representatives of companies that carried out exports and imports under Andhi Pramono’s supervision.
“So we need to look for those companies that do export and import. So any company, for example, it turns out that the fee should be 10, then in different ways it turns out that the fee can be 5 or 4, that’s how it is. It’s the way to work.”
Separately, KPK Reporting Unit Chief Ali Fikri called a team of KPK investigators to cross-examine three witnesses in the Andhi Pramono case. Two of the three witnesses are known to be company leaders.
The three witnesses named Ronnie Comma as Director of PT Fachrindo Mega Sukses/Freight Forwader, Iksanudin as Exim Staff of PT Argo Makmur Cemindo to Johannes Kumarudin as Commissioner of PT Indokemas Adhikencana.
Ali said that witnesses were questioned about the flow of Andy Pramono’s gratuities that were used for personal gain.
Ali explained that “the witnesses were present and investigated their information, among other things, regarding allegations of receiving rewards in the form of money that were then used for personal needs from the party who is called the suspect in this case.”
Andy Pramono’s pleasing worth is in the billions
KPK has named former head of Makassar Customs Andy Pramono as a suspect in gratuity. The amount of reward Andhi receives is in the order of billions of rupees.
“So far it is estimated to be billions of rupees,” Ali said.
Ali said the investigation into Andy Pramono’s fun is still ongoing. The amount of suspected corruption involving Andy Pramono is also expected to continue to grow.
“It’s still being explored and developed,” Ali said.
