Jakarta Transport Corporation (Trans Jakarta) will make a test road connection with TransPakuan this year. This road connectivity is expected to facilitate the entry of residents of Bogor Jakarta.

TransJakarta and TransPakuan held a number of meetings and signed a Memorandum of Understanding. One of the points agreed upon is the formation of a technical team that will work on developing the operational plan until the services are prepared.

Welfizon was reluctant to say how long or how many fleets to deploy on trials. He said it was clear that his party would conduct a comprehensive evaluation of the service.

“If, for example, we are about to start a trial run, then later we will need friends from the media to inform us so that when we walk, people from Bogor or Sipopor will already know,” he explained.

Welfizon hopes that this road connection will be an alternative for Bogor residents when traveling to Jakarta as well as reduce traffic jams on the streets of the capital.

“This is an alternative for the residents of Bogor, who previously used other modes, trains, etc. This will add a new mode so that an alternative occurs to break traffic jams and reduce the burden on Jakarta later,” he explained.
