North Jakarta Mayor (Yakut walks) Ali Maulana Hakim is ready to investigate the building of the shop (Rocco) in Beloit, which is suspected of occupying the road. He said he was still studying the matter.
“We have to examine it thoroughly,” Ali said. betweenTuesday (16/5/2023).
The shop suspected of occupying the road is located at Jalan Niaga RT 011 RW 03, Pluit, Penjaringan, North Jakarta. The shop was initially questioned by the local RT chief because it occupies the shoulder of the road and water canals in the Penjaringan district.
Ali added that comprehensive information will be provided by the North Jakarta city government after discussing the matter with PT Jawa Barat Indah (JBI) and PT Jakarta Propertyendo (Jack Pro).
“Yes, we are currently holding meetings with the relevant parties, especially with regard to licenses and site plans at that site. We are continuing to implement this until the information is completed later, and I have not communicated it yet,” Ali said.
The meeting was held on Monday (16/5) yesterday. Ali could not convey the results of the meeting.
“(The results of the meeting) I can’t convey yet. In the meantime, yes,” Ali said.
DPRD Satpol PP-PTSP members are encouraged to get involved
DKI Jakarta DPRD members have asked Satpol PP and DKI One-Stop Integrated Service Investment Agency (PMPTSP) to handle cases of land grabs by shopkeepers in Pluit district.
“I convey, I hope that PTSP and Satpol PP will immediately go there to solve it. Don’t let the problem become more severe, on a larger scale,” said Committee D Chairman, DKI Jakarta, Ida Mahmudah.
According to Edda, Satpol PP should be present to enforce regional regulations if the problem has entered the realm of greenbelt land grabbing.
“Actions can range from issuing a warning to dismantling the building,” he said.
He also asked the PTSP to actively secure the landowner’s permit. If a violation is reported, Satpol PP and PTSP shall impose penalties in accordance with applicable regulations.
Ida herself acknowledges that there has been no direct report to the DRC Commission on this matter. Although he did not receive the report directly, he hoped that the relevant regional organs’ work unit could solve the problem.

Previously, the head of RT 011 RW 03 Pluit, Riang Prasetya, questioned the existence of a shop building in Jalan Nyaga, Penjaringan District, North Jakarta, which was originally intended for social and public facilities (social services and utilities).
The total number of stores in Beloit, Penjaringan, North Jakarta, which the RT chief questioned is 42 units. The stores are located in Block Z4 North and Block Z8 South.
