Community Organizations (ORMAS) 120th or B-120th Battalion Makassar, South Sulawesi has been officially dissolved. The reason for their dissolution was that many organizations were no longer allied.
The former coordinator of Makassar said, “Yes, it was dissolved, that was yesterday. The reason is that we believe there are some that we considered partners, either from one institution or several organizations that do not align with us.” The Command Council of the 120th Battalion, Izal, according to what was reported by Antara. detikSulselTuesday (16/5/2023).
On social media, Izal said, the 120th Makassar Battalion was asked to disband. However, it was not this pressure that caused the organization that had been created to be dissolved for one year.
“The solution to ourselves is that we have our own intentions without any pressure from others, although there are some of them not even in society, we found them but on social media platforms,” he said.
He added, “The so-called social media is cyberspace, not the real world, so we see that there are things like that that are also a minor consideration.”
Although it was resolved, Izal estimated that the B120 had worked optimally in the care of ex-offenders in the city of Makassar. According to Eisel, this can be gauged from the conditions in coffee shops or coffee shops that are rarely visited due to rampant crime, but now have changed for the better.
