Komnas HAM received a report from the Youth Center Muhammadiyah (PP) in Andy Prince Hasanuddin (APH). Komnas HAM will summon the BRIN Chief Laksana Tri Handoko.
This was conveyed by Komnas Commissioner Ham Harry Kurnewan. He initially said that Komnas Ham should not dismiss reports of alleged human rights violations.
“We can’t dismiss all complaints, right, so we will accept all complaints. Secondly, we will study human rights violations with regard to religious freedom,” Hari Kurniawan said at Komnas HAM office, Menteng, Central Jakarta, Tuesday. 5/2023).
He said his party would watch and call the BRIN chief. He stated that the summons was to find out the circumstances of the case which had entrapped Brain scholar, Andy Prince, until Muhammadiyah complained to Komnas Ham.
“If this goes to monitoring, we will summon those parties, including BRIN, what is the attitude of BRIN towards these two employees, including the results of the morals trial, we want to know how to create a sense of safety for members of Muhammadiyah, due to death threats to the population .. He continued, “Therefore, we will examine BRIN, in the sense of summoning the head of BRIN and parties related to hate speech.”
He said death threats are a violation of human rights. However, Komnas Ham will first investigate the case reported by Muhammadiyah.
“Death threats anywhere really violate the right to life, and this must be addressed. Police must act decisively on death threats against anyone, not just members of Mohammedia,” he said.
As is known, the criminal detective developed Andy Prince as a suspect. This decision was followed by a comment, “Annul the blood of Muhammadiyah,” which he wrote to me on his Facebook account some time ago.

Ramadan stated that Pariscream arrested Andy on Sunday (30/4) at a boarding house in Jombang district, East Java. Now Andy is being held in the Criminal Investigation Police Detention Center.
As a result of his actions, Andy has been charged with Section 28 Paragraph 2 in conjunction with Section 45a Paragraph 2 and/or Section 29 in conjunction with Section 45b of Law No. 19 of 2016 Concerning Amendments to Law No. 11 of 2008 Concerning Electronic Information and Transactions.
