Jokowi admitted that he was very happy with the victory achieved by Garuda Muda Indonesia. He said that this victory was Indonesia’s wait of 32 years.
“Very happy, because Indonesia and Thailand 5-2, what I said yesterday was the mentality of the winner, the mentality of the champion, it was very clear. Playing without mental burden, but we have waited 32 years to become champions in Southeast Asia, 32 years we have been waiting.”
Jokowi also did not forget to congratulate the players of the Indonesian national team and the coaching team. Jokowi said that this achievement has been a long struggle.
He said, “Congratulations to all the players, coaches and all officials. This has been done for years and continues, and then the competition enters the training camp, and I think this is very good.”
