Vice President Ma’ruf Amin gave his directions at the National Development Planning Conference (Musrenbangnas) titled “Golden Indonesia”. Marouf said that there are a number of important challenges and agendas awaiting Indonesia in 2024. What are they?

Maruf said in his guidance in Senayan, Jakarta, Tuesday (5/16/2023).

Maarouf revealed that in addition to the elections, maintaining the sustainability of the national development agenda is another important challenge and agenda. One of them, he continued, is the development of the capital’s archipelago.

“I stressed the importance of maintaining the sustainability of the national development agenda, including the capital of the archipelago, so that an equitable distribution of people’s well-being can be achieved throughout the country,” he said.

Next is the demographic bonus. According to Marouf, the demographic dividend is both a challenge and an opportunity for Indonesia.

“For Indonesia, this is of course a golden opportunity. How can the current demographic bonus be improved to stimulate per capita GDP so that Indonesia can enter this category? an upper middle income country In the year 2025, Marouf said.

And Maarouf continued, the other challenge is Triple Planet Crisis Due to climate change, pollution and biodiversity degradation. Maarouf said it is important to do mitigation and adaptation to deal with the crisis.

Because of this, Marouf also requested that the preparation of District and District/City Development Action Plans (RKP) pay real attention to the development goals and objectives of the RKP. Marouf also called for preparations for implementation big project and national strategic projects to be secured.

“Third, formulate goals, targets and strategies for sustainable development, keeping in mind that RPJMN 2020-2024 as well as RPJPN 2005-2025 will end soon. Medium and long-term planning is the key to sustainability, as well as providing a well-known knowledge,” he said.

“Finally, I specifically asked the Ministry of National Development Planning / Babinas to supervise the preparation of the 2024 National Action Plan as well as the medium and long-term development plans, so as to ensure the achievement of Indonesia’s golden goal of 2045,” he added.
