A video clip of the victim of the alleged gang attack was circulated on social media while she was being treated in hospital. It is said that the attack took place in Balaraja District, Tangerang Regency.
In the viral video seen detikumOn Tuesday (16/5/2023), a number of victims were seen lying in a hospital. It was reported that the attack took place on Sunday (14/5).
The incident was confirmed by Kumbul Arif Nazaruddin Yusuf, Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of Tangerang Police. The police are currently searching for the suspect.
“Development continues. Yes (alleged manhunt perpetrator),” Arif said when asked for confirmation, Tuesday (16/5).
Aref said that 5 people were killed in the accident. The police are also making efforts to prevent this from happening again.
“Yes (5 victims) the victim can then be able to witness because they are there. So that efforts (similar incidents) will not be repeated again,” he said.
