The police are still investigating the plot thief Stylishly dressed in a ‘slip bag’ pose at a restaurant in Jerok Borut area, Pasar Mengu, South Jakarta. The police secured three surveillance cameras from the restaurant.
“There are three secured security cameras, two inside and one outside the parking area,” Pasar Mingu Kumpul Rusit Malacca Police Chief told reporters on Tuesday (16/5/2023).
Rosset said the victim reported the Pasar Mengo police. However, the victim cannot be questioned because he worked in Semarang.
“The victim cannot be a BAP yet because the victim works in Semarang and back and forth from Jakarta,” he said.
Moreover, he said that the victim lost his laptop, ID card, and money. He confirmed that the investigation into the case is still ongoing.
“In the victim’s bag there were 400,000 rupees in cash, 300 Malaysian ringgit, a driver’s licence, an ID card and a laptop,” he said.
Previously, the police estimated the number of this criminal gang at four. The theft took place at approximately 14.08 hrs EST on Thursday (11/5). The police are still searching for the perpetrators.
