Transformers: Rise of the Beasts Has A Record Breaking Runtime!

The trailer for Transformers: Rise of the Beasts gave us almost everything we wanted to see. A narrative which is almost flooded with action sequences, exciting visuals and most importantly Anthony Ramos who is now the human face of the franchise. He has filled in for Shia LaBeouf and Mark Walberg. We also get a look at Unicron, the villainous entity that the Transformers are up against this time. The events of the film are taking place in 1994. Optimus Prime looks as slick and cool as he can be. Peter Cullen’s voice for Prime is still unbeatable. It truly feels like this will be a Transformers film free from Michael Bay. Which is exactly why the new film is the shortest live-action Transformer film ever because all the Michael Bay clutter has been cut out. Let’s see what is the crisp runtime of Rise of the Beasts.

Transformers: Rise of the Beasts Is The Shortest Transformer Film Ever!

Collider revealed in an exclusive report that Rise of the Beasts clocks in at around 1 hour and 57 minutes making it the shortest mainline live action Transformers film ever, except for Bumblebee (not counting as it was a spin-off). The record for the longest Transformers film is still held by Age of Extinction that clocks in about 2 hours and 45 minutes, followed by a tie between Dark of the Moon and The Last Knight which both have a runtime of 2 hours and 34 minutes. For comparison, here is the full list of runtimes of past Transformers movies:

• Transformers: Age of Extinction – 2 hours and 45 minutes
• Transformers: Dark of the Moon – 2 hours and 34 minutes
• Transformers: The Last Knight – 2 hours and 34 minutes
• Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen – 2 hours and 30 minutes
• Transformers – 2 hours and 24 minutes
• Bumblebee (spin-off) – 1 hour and 54 minutes
