In chapter 155 of “Sakamoto Days”, titled “Melee,” we witness the fight against Kumanomi and Haruma. Even though Sakamoto left Shin behind to help Shishiba, he wasn’t of much help due to his inability to use his powers. 

He still managed to dodge the attacks somehow, but things got really dangerous when Carolina Reaper burst into the place through the roof and attacked him from behind. However, the situation was solved with the help of another sudden appearance of an individual who turned out to be Amane.

3. Chapter 156 Speculation

In the next chapter, we’ll either see Sakamoto’s point of view, where he assists Nagumo against X, or the fight against Kumanomi and the others will continue. The power of each side is once again balanced now that Amane is helping them. In terms of strength, Shin is the weakest and even weaker without his ESP, but this is his time to grow.

Kashima had mysteriously disappeared in this fight, and we didn’t see Gaku’s body in this chapter even though Kumanomi got a hold of it. It’s possible that Kashima took his body to someplace safe so that he could tend to it even further.

4. Recap of Chapter 155

Sakamoto left Shin behind with Shishiba and went to help Nagumo. He thought Shin would be fine since he had his ESP, but his ESP wasn’t working after the explosion. Haruma kept throwing his attacks at the duo, and Shin just kept dodging them, unable to launch a counterattack. He was still too slow, so Shishiba had to rescue him. 

Shishiba thought it was a bit odd that Shin was so slow, so he asked him if he was injured. Shin replied that he was fine and realized how much of a burden he was in that fight. Kumanomi kept attacking them with her magnetic attacks, and Shishiba protected Shin as much as possible. He still got hit by a metal rod in his head, but luckily, the injury wasn’t anything serious.

After knowing that he was perfectly fine and this was his normal speed, Shishiba thanked Osarogi for being his partner. Haruma attacked Shin, but Shin disrupted his balance. Just when he thought he was safe, Carolina Reaper entered the battlefield. He almost got Shin from behind, but Amane came in clutch. He slashed Carolina Reaper from behind and threw him off guard.
