Hence, he will remain out of the competition until the very last day. Woon-Hwi and Jwabaek’s teams will participate in the competition separately, and in case they face each other in the final match, Jwabaek will give up the match.   

Ten days are left before the commencement of the tournament. Jin goes to the outskirts of the Murim Alliance Castle, to a street full of blacksmiths, as he wants to repair his Southern Heaven Iron Sword.

He decides to go to a less popular area so that he can get his sword quickly. He wants to go to a certain smith who is known to have repaired the sword of Baek Hyangmook.

He reaches the place of the smith only to find him lying drunk. Jin hears a lot of swords’ wailing noises. On entering a room, he finds the broken sword of the Murim Alliance leader. 

He decides to learn the history of the sword. After touching the sword, he can see the past and sees the Murim Alliance Leader, Baek Hyangmook, holding the now-broken sword. 

The leader tested the sword, but it wasn’t up to his satisfaction. Unfortunately, the sword reached an irreparable stage and has been in pain since then. Jin helps the sword relieve its pain, and the sword turns to dust. 

The blacksmith shows up from behind. Surprised by the sight, he asks Jin to help his other wasted swords get peace. Jin shows him his sword, and the smith agrees to repair it in five days. 

Returning back, Jin’s path is halted by a mysterious attacker, who turns out to be Baek Hyehyang (Jin’s wife).
