Office of the Attorney General (Office of the Attorney General) named the former principal manager of PT GTS with the initials BR as the new suspect A case of alleged corruption in the fictitious project of PT Graha Telkom Sigma (GTS) year 2017-2018. Immediately arrested PT GTS Manager for 2014-2017.
“On Monday, May 15, 2023, the Investigation Team of the Investigation Directorate of the New Prosecutor General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) identified and detained one suspect in connection with an alleged case of corruption in residential, housing and hotel business projects and the head of the Public Prosecutor’s Office, Ketut Sumidana, said in a written press release, Tuesday (16/5/2023).
Ketut said he suspected that BR and other suspects had made bogus cooperation agreements as if there were construction of flats, residences, hotels and provision of slotted stones with several client companies. Ketut said BR used fake documents to disburse the money.
“Moreover, to support the disbursement of funds, the suspect used fake exchange documents, so that the money was successfully withdrawn with these documents and there were indications of causing financial losses to the state of IDR 282,371,563,184,” he said.
There are already 6 suspects
The Public Prosecutor’s Office had previously named six people as suspects in this case. The suspects have been arrested.
“After finding enough evidence, the investigation team of AGO’s Pidsus division has named six suspects,” said Jampidsus director at AGO, Kuntadi, in a video provided by AGO’s Chief of Criminal Investigation Unit, Ketut Sumedana. Thursday (11/5).
The six suspects are:
1. Tawfiq Hedayat as CEO of PT GTS for the period from 2017 to 2020.
2. Heri Purnomo as Operations Manager of PT GTS for the period from 2016 to 2018.
3. Judy Ashmadi as PT GTS Commissioner from 2014 to 2018.
4. Rusjdi Basamallah as Senior Director of PT Wisata Surya Timur (PT WST).
5. Agus Herry Purwanto as Commissioner PT Mulyo Joyo Abadi (MJA).
6. Teju Sorio Laksuno as Principal Director of PT Granary Reka Cipta (PT GRK).
