The heroic action of the Tracks Guard (PJL) in rescuing pedestrians who stormed the railway crossing (KA) at Jalan Lasui, Bandung City, attracted public attention. Apparently, what this guy named Rangga N (27) did was not the first time.
Detikjabar Chance to meet Ranga. He narrated the incident that occurred on Sunday (3/14), when the Malabar train bound for Malang crossed the road.
“Yesterday, I closed the crossing in time when the train was about to pass. After the crossing closed, no vehicles or pedestrians passed by, it was safe. Ranga admitted that the walker was an old man with poor hearing. Pedestrians act as street vendors who usually pass this way. According to him, the heroic deeds that he performed were done spontaneously.
Ranga said accidents of people breaking into railways are not uncommon. At least, he has saved about eight people who were nearly hit by a train since it was on duty in 2015.
“I don’t know the eighth, I don’t know the seventh, here (the railway crossing in Lasui) is the first. Most of the rankiek,” said Ranga, a resident of Simung County, Bandung Regency.
