Artis Rezky Aditya Underwent scrutiny in Polda Metro Jaya in connection with the reporting of a sensational video that was said to look like himself being posted on social media (medsos). Rezky Aditya was asked 22 questions.

“So the clarification of the report relates to a report published by a member of the public. That alone was asked 22 questions,” Rizki Aditya’s lawyer, Erwan Irawan, told reporters on Tuesday (16/5/2023).

Erwan said that Rizki Aditya gave initial clarifications regarding the report presented to him.

“We’ve tried to make that clear to investigators. Regarding the prevalence of criminal acts of pornography with this content, that’s all that has been reported,” he said.

When asked, Rezky said that the reports that were made interfered with his work. Then when asked about the case, he didn’t comment much. He turned the legal process over to the police.

Reason for reporting

A teacher named Julianna filed a police report after a sensational video that appeared to be Rizki Aditya went viral on social media. Ustaz Julliana reported Rezky Aditya regarding the erotic video due to its negative impact on teens.

“This has a very negative impact, it is very harmful to society, especially the younger generation and adolescents. We know that young people and adolescents are active with mobile phones through the internet. Juliana confirmed that the report was prepared to find out who was responsible for publishing the sexy video. Moreover, he continued, since the video went viral, the man allegedly Rizki Aditya himself has not given any clarification.

“In fact, he wants to report to the police to know who actually produced it, who posted it, and who is most responsible for the immoral, indecent videos. Since December 2022, it has spread, and many people already know,” he said.

“But why did Rezky Aditya get to this point, first, if he really had no intention, then why not Feel Complained and reported it, but hasn’t reported it yet. And if it wasn’t him, why didn’t he provide an explanation or self-defense at all.”

The report’s lawyer, Mohamed Moallem, said his party wanted to summon Rizki Aditya. However, since Rezky had no access to communicate, the reporting step was finally taken.

“Our client does not know him at all and has absolutely no access to send subpoenas or demand answers to the sensational video. Because his face is similar and identical to Rizki Aditya’s, he must actively defend himself,” he said.

Regardless, if indeed Rezky would have reported it to the police if he didn’t really feel like the man in the video was himself or feel upset about the video going viral. Thus, it will subsequently facilitate the prosecution of the responsible party in the current case.

“If you feel aggrieved because there is no intention to spread, please inform the police and ask the police to investigate all incidents deemed harmful to society, and not remain silent,” he said.
