Acting Mayor of Bandung Emma Sumarna In response to a question that KPK banned him from going abroad. Emma confirmed that she will continue to follow KPK’s directives.
When the media staff met her at Bandung City Hall, Emma said, “This is normal in the ongoing investigation process because my statement may still be needed.” Ditik Jabbar, Tuesday (16/5/2023).
Emma said that to this day there is no Foreign Service agenda that she has to undertake in the near future. He also focused solely on the Bandung City Government program, considering that he carried out two duties as Acting Mayor and Bandung City Secretary.
“Now I am also focusing on various programs in Bandung, one of which is waste treatment and cable reduction (air ducts). There is no agenda outside and outside the city. “In my current state, I will stay in Bandung,” he said.
As is known, KPK banned Emma Sumarna from going abroad. Emma is prevented from investigating a case of bribery to buy security cameras and ISPs in Bandung in the Bandung Smart City Program involving the inactive Bandung Mayor, Yana Mulyana.
KPK needs the Ema statement while executing the block. Emma’s statement is necessary for the investigation of the inactive Bandung Walcott case of Yana Mulyana, who is now a suspect.
