A cat got into a well in Klapanunggal District, Bogor Regency, West Java (West Java). The kitten fell into a well 10 meters deep.
“The cat entered unintentionally and fell into a depth of up to 10 meters,” said Danro 3 Rescue from the Bogor (Damkar) District Fire Department, Syabuddin, in his statement, Tuesday (16/5/2023).
The accident occurred on Monday (15/5) last evening. It is known that the well is old and is no longer used by residents.
“Old wells that have not been used for a long time, there is a hole at the edge of the well,” he said.
Then the residents of the area reported the incident to the fire department. Officers received reports from the public, and immediately went to the scene.
He said: “The officers arrived at the site at 22.58 in the west of Western Indonesia.”
Upon reaching the site, officers immediately removed the cat from the well. The evacuation took place for 30 minutes until the cat was rescued.
“The handling of the situation is conducive, the evacuation time is 30 minutes, and the cat is still alive,” he concluded.
